Are those who feel guilt
Too small to make an impact
on resources, environmental sustainability

Or are those of us who care keeping ourselves small 
not growing in wealth and security


Can we actually make an impact
trickle down effect proven wrong
actions compacted to change  society

In a panic, I awake, 
sleepy disoriented
What time of day is it? 
A nap, cozy, mid day. 
Hum of heat pushed through vents, hot water for the shower, roof over head. 

Yet the kid wants to shop 
20 min away 
Gas my dear 
doesn’t come cheap
Time equals money
Are you going to pay
Guilt again, not being the mother of his dreams.
